Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade at a school located in Middletown, Delaware. This opportunity is a contract position for the upcoming school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students communication and language development.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with school policies.
* Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based strategies to improve speech and language skills.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing effective communication programs.
Qualifications:
* Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
* Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
* Strong knowledge of speech language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention techniques.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
