Are you a Primary-trained teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity outside of the traditional classroom setting? We are seeking experienced and nurturing teachers to deliver KS1 and KS2-level catch-up sessions for students in secondary school environments across Sheffield and Chesterfield
About the Role:
You will work with small groups or individual students in secondary schools who require additional support with literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills. These catch-up sessions are designed to close learning gaps and help pupils re-engage with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging catch-up lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Focus on core areas: reading, writing, phonics, maths, and comprehension
Work closely with SEN and pastoral teams to support students with diverse needs
Track and report on student progressIdeal Candidate:
Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS required)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
Experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable
Patient, flexible, and supportive teaching style
