You will join us on a part-time (12 hours per week), permanent basis during term time only, and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £6,628 per annum (equivalent to a full year, full time salary of £23,519 per annum), plus staff benefits. About our role: We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small reception team. Reporting into the Team Leader - Curriculum Admin and Reception, in this post you’ll assist in the provision of high standard customer service and collaborate with staff in other areas of the College to provide a responsive and integrated service to potential students as well as current students, visitors and staff during evening hours. This post will include a wide range of duties, including: Support the running of the main reception during our evening hours. Act as a first point of contact for students, staff and all visitors to the College. Deal with incoming/outgoing post, courier services and e-mail. Operate the switchboard, emergency telephone and college answer machines. Act as the first point of contact for front line First Aider call outs, Emergency Services, Security and Evening Duty Manager. Ensure all enquires are referred to the appropriate level. Undertake general administrative and support duties. Support with the welcoming of visitors during Welcome events, Orientation Days, Open Events and other College events. Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the Reception area as a first point of contact. Manage and handle lost property handed in to the Reception. Hours of Work will be: Monday – Thursday 4-7pm What we are looking for in our ideal Receptionist candidate: You must be well presented, friendly and welcoming and have the ability to work well under pressure, be organised and have excellent customer service skills. You must enjoy and have the ability to work solo and part of a team.
