This role will be based out of Glasgow and will assess key skills such as risk management, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology skills, along with job-specific technical skills.
Purpose of the Role: To manage and monitor supplier risk and performance, ensuring compliance with Barclays policies and standards through effective control execution, relationship management, and risk mitigation.
Accountabilities include:
* Managing supplier control processes and overseeing supplier performance against KPIs.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to meet procurement needs, policies, and standards, and to mitigate risks.
* Identifying suitable suppliers through market research and contract negotiations.
* Monitoring industry trends and participating in relevant training and conferences.
* Ensuring suppliers meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
* Supporting regulatory requests and examinations.
