I am currently working on behalf of a growing organisation based in the Greater Belfast area to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their existing finance team. This organisation is a long-standing and reputablepany with an excellentpany culture and low staff turnover and is currently undertaking a period of substantial growth.
Your new role
Working in an established finance team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
1. Responsible for the accuracy of financial statements and information.
2. Updating and reconciling financial ledgers
3. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets for thepany
4. Preparing financial documents such as purchase orders and bank statements
5. Verifyingpany expenses, bank deposits and bank payments
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Accountancy/Finance or minimum IATA qualified with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar accountancy role. Applicants should be excel proficient with an ability to spot numerical errors and have strong organisation skills.
