Job Summary:
Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working; typically 2 to 3 days per week on site.
Key Skills Required:
* Systems engineering background with experience across different phases of the CADMID cycle, focusing on demonstration and manufacture phases, including V&V planning, trials, qualification evidence, and certification documentation.
* Awareness of industry-standard systems engineering processes.
* Knowledge of weapon system design concepts; experience with air defence systems, command & control, missile, and radar design is desirable.
* Ability to produce high-quality, concise, and detailed technical reports.
* Ability to work confidently amid ambiguity and conflicting priorities, prioritizing tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Progress system design verification and validation activities.
* Support the development of qualification strategies.
* Gather and present sub-system evidence to support compliance and internal/governance sign-off.
* Create progress metrics and report to senior management.
* Identify key risk areas.
* Engage with customers, industry partners, and suppliers, including supporting customer working groups.
* Collaborate with sub-system design authorities.
