What They Are Looking For
They are seeking an MEP Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial performance of major electrical or full MEP packages on large-scale projects in Austria. Reporting into senior regional commercial leadership, this role will take ownership of high-value scopes within technically demanding environments.
This hire supports continued growth within advanced technology and data centre sectors. The successful candidate will drive commercial strategy across live projects, manage risk and contract administration, oversee procurement and ensure strong financial performance across complex packages.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience managing electrical or full MEP commercial scopes on large-scale projects. You will be confident operating at senior level, leading commercial teams and managing high-value subcontract negotiations while maintaining executive-level reporting standards.

Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management of major electrical or full MEP packages
* Develop and manage cost plans, forecasts and detailed financial reporting
* Oversee procurement strategy and high-value subcontract negotiations
* Manage contract administration, change control and claims processes
* Drive risk mitigation strategies across complex project environments
* Prepare executive-level CVRs and financial updates
* Lead and mentor project-based commercial teams
* Manage variations, dispute resolution and final accounts
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory frameworks
Criteria for the Role
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on large-scale electrical or MEP packages
* Background within international Building Services or MEP contracting environments
* Experience on high-value projects such as data centres, advanced manufacturing or similar complex facilities
* Strong contract management and procurement expertise
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related discipline
* Demonstrated ability to manage large commercial teams
* Excellent financial acumen and executive reporting capability
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
