This is an exciting opportunity to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across land‑based, animal care, and equine programmes. At Common Leys, learning happens beyond the classroom. You'll be supporting students as they build confidence, develop practical skills, and work towards greater independence in a nurturing, real‑world setting. About the role As a Learner Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping learners thrive by: Supporting students with SEND during both practical and classroom‑based sessions. Working closely with teaching staff and farm teams to create an inclusive, supportive environment. Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal development. Assisting with land‑based, animal care, and equine activities as part of the curriculum. Promoting safe working practices across a busy, hands‑on farm setting. An interest in outdoor, practical, or animal‑related environments. A proactive, flexible, and positive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in SEND support or land‑based industries is welcomed but not essential - full training will be provided.
