This is a brand-new role created role created to support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day management of the finance department 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays Flexible working hours Early finish every Friday Study support Company pension scheme Private healthcare Life assurance Free onsite parking Role responsibilities Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and financial reports Support budgeting, forecasting and regular variance analysis Monitor costs, margins and key performance indicators Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations and supporting schedules Assist with improving financial processes, systems and internal controls Work closely with the wider business to provide financial insight Support year-end procedures and audit requirements Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Finance Manager as needed Support with training and development of an Accounts Assistant Person specification Proven experience working as an assistant management accountant or a management accountant for 2 years CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or actively studying to become fully qualified Strong systems and IT skills, including advanced MS excel skills Experience working within a manufacturing business would be an advantage Experience of leading or overseeing a small accounts team would be an advantage but not essential
