Job Description
Fabricator Welder (MIG & TIG)
Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.50 per hour (DOE). Hours: Full-time | Overtime available (subject to workload).
We are currently looking for experienced Fabricator Welders to join our busy workshop team. The ideal candidates will have experience in the fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and sometimes aluminium. Overtime is available at the moment due to high demand, but not always guaranteed long term.
Responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
* MIG welding to a high standard (essential)
* TIG welding experience (advantageous but not essential)
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication diagrams
* Working on sheet metal, structural steel, and bespoke fabrication projects
* Using workshop tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and cutting equipment
* Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and dimensional standards
* Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or Welder/Fabricator
* Strong MIG welding background
* TIG welding skills are a bonus
* Good understanding of sheet metal and fabrication processes
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Reliable, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
* Willingness to work overtime when available
