Laboratory Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00
Location: Liverpool

Are you an experienced Laboratory Manager with a strong background in GMP environments and a passion for quality and leadership? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to lead within laboratory operations role and drive excellence in analytical services.

Manage customer enquiries and provide quotations for analysis
Oversee sample booking, storage, handling, and disposal
Organise analysis of samples for bacterial endotoxin and glucan concentration
Liaise with third-party laboratories for additional services
Coordinate QC sample analysis and certification
Review documentation produced by Laboratory Technicians
Generate and manage customer reports and certificates
Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation archiving
Maintain calibration and validation of lab equipment
Uphold GMP standards and ISO 9001 procedures
Lead departmental PDP and supervise staff training and safety awareness
Provide monthly management reports and contribute to company goalsSkills & Experience Required:
Proven managerial experience in a laboratory setting
Strong supervisory and delegation skills
In-depth knowledge of bacterial endotoxin assays
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and GMP standards
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
