The Retail Energy Code Company (RECCo) is responsible for managing and evolving the Retail Energy Code (REC), which governs the interactions of parties involved in the Great Britain retail energy market. Our mission is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the market, promoting innovation, competition, and delivering positive outcomes for consumers. We manage a range of critical services, all aimed at driving operational efficiencies and delivering value to the industry and consumers alike.
RECCo supports a broad set of stakeholders, including energy suppliers, network operators, and metering service providers, facilitating the effective delivery of their obligations under the REC. This makes RECCo a vital player in shaping the future of the energy market.

The Role
The Service and Change Delivery Manager will play a key role in facilitating the smooth transition and implementation of new or enhanced REC Services and supporting processes into the Operations Team. Working closely with internal operational and project teams, Code Manager Service Providers, and external industry stakeholders, the role focuses on:
* Managing organisational readiness;
* Ensuring stakeholder engagement;
* Supporting the effective adoption of new processes and services; and
* Ensuring the new services deliver a positive user experience.
The objective of this role is to ensure that changes are implemented in a structured manner, minimising disruption and maximising benefits to the business in support of successful service delivery.
In addition, this role will also have responsibility for the day to day service management of the REC Technical Services Code Manager Provider (NB not the Digital Services Provider).
Initial Focus:
For the first 12 months, the Manager’s primary project focus will be the implementation of RECCo’s new digital ecosystem through the Digital Services Project.
This project is the transitioning to a new, integrated digital ecosystem. This move consolidates the digital solutions into a single platform delivered by a newly appointed Digital Services provider.
What you’ll do:
* Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
* Build and maintain relationships with RECCo internal teams, Code Manager Service Providers, and Service Users.
* Act as the main liaison between operational teams and external service providers.
* Ensure stakeholder needs are addressed throughout the development to deliver a positive user experience.
* Change Planning & Impact Assessment
* Develop and execute a comprehensive change plan with operational teams.
* Conduct impact assessments across teams and stakeholders.
* Identify risks and coordinate proactive mitigation strategies.
* Process Design & Transition Support
* Work with the Digital Services provider to integrate new processes.
* Support process re-engineering to support digital adoption in the Code Manager Service Provider teams.
* Support Code Manager Service Provider and internal teams in transitioning from legacy systems.
* Communication & Training
* Develop and implement an internal stakeholder communication strategy
* Identify and coordinate training initiatives.
* Monitor change adoption and address resistance as needed.
* Post-Implementation Support & Continuous Improvement
* Provide ongoing post-implementation support to ensure process adoption.
* Monitor effectiveness and gather feedback for improvements.
* Champion change and promote innovation across the organisation.
About you:
* Extensive background in business change and service management
* Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and collaboration
* Experience with process re-engineering and system transitions
* Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and tools
* Familiarity with digital transformation and its impact on business processes
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence
* Experience leading teams through change and uncertainty
* Ideally worked in the energy or a regulated industry
