Package Manager (Electrical)

Job Overview:
JCA is seeking a skilled
Package Manager (Electrical)
to manage allocated contracts, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will oversee site operations, coordinate teams, and maintain compliance with statutory legislation, industry standards, and JCA policies. This role requires leadership, technical knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement to successfully manage electrical projects from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead site management and supervision of electrical contracts, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and profitability standards are maintained.
* Efficiently manage labour, plant, equipment, materials, logistics, and interfaces on site.
* Implement and maintain JCA quality control processes, providing feedback where necessary.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
* Identify risks to health, safety, quality, and environment, ensuring adequate risk management at all times.
* Attend site meetings, report progress, and maintain accurate documentation including photos, issue logs, risk registers, and 2-week look-ahead plans.
* Oversee material take-offs, selection, ordering, and storage to support daily operations.
* Review site reports, designs, and drawings, providing practical feedback on installation methods and improvements.
* Liaise with site teams to identify challenges and implement solutions.
* Maintain site records, including diaries, equipment and plant registers, snag lists, and HSE audit checklists.
* Manage subcontractors' site-based documentation, performance, and health & safety compliance.
* Conduct site inductions, daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure site welfare and security.
Requirements:
* Construction or Engineering Qualification – NVQ Level 3 or higher.
* CITB SSSTS certificate (or approved equivalent).
* IOSH Supervising Safely.
* CSCS card relevant to role.
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Proven experience supervising projects of comparable size, value, and complexity.
* Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of statutory requirements, construction methods, and industry processes.
* Full UK driving licence.
