As a Care Professional, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need, ensuring they receive the support and companionship they deserve.
Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to clients
Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or shopping trips
Support clients with personal care activities, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
Help administer medication as directed
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team
Document and report on client's condition and care provided
Adapt to changing client needs and schedules
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
Compassionate and kind-hearted nature with a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and reliability
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends
Exceptional time management skills and punctuality
Physical stamina to assist clients with daily activities
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting
Willingness to travel within the assigned area to reach clients
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle (other transportation methods may be considered based on client needs and location)
No prior experience required – comprehensive training will be provided
Additional Information
You will receive
Hourly rate from £13.15
Paid mileage
Paid travel time and waiting time between clients visits at regular hourly rate
