This position operates on a rota system covering 7 days a week, requiring a high degree of flexibility to accommodate varying shift patterns and the dynamic nature of ambulance operations. On-call responsibilities will be required to ensure seamless coordination and coverage during critical periods, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Principal Responsibilities Efficiently coordinate and dispatch ambulance crews in response to service requests, ensuring optimal allocation of resources at all times, often under changing circumstances. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, clients, and collaborate with NIAS, ensuring meticulous documentation of all pertinent information. Maintain comprehensive records pertaining to bookings, journeys, and crew schedules, adapting quickly to changes in schedules and priorities as required. Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and timely management of email and telephone enquiries. Facilitate clear communication between medical personnel, patients, and families, upholding the highest standards of service. Assist in the oversight of operational logistics, such as the scheduling of vehicle and equipment checks. Undertake on-call duties as required, providing responsive support for urgent operational needs beyond regular working hours.
