What you’ll be doing:
Working in an agile environment means you’ll take charge early on, absorb new experiences, and positively influence our work—making an impact on our customers' lives. We’ll utilise your skills where they are most needed and give you opportunities to build and grow your expertise. You’ll join one of our tribes (home, motor, pet, travel, etc.) and focus on a key area of pricing within your squad.
Lead the delivery of pricing & underwriting outcomes within your specific domain (trading, optimisation, risk pricing, etc.) to help your squad achieve its goals.
Support decision-making processes aligned with commercial, customer, and strategic objectives.
Enhance DLG’s pricing performance and long-term capabilities while maintaining discipline in pricing & underwriting.
Use your technical and analytical skills to influence your team and the wider chapter, developing innovative solutions to challenging problems.
Engage with the wider Pricing & Underwriting community and influence tribe objectives and priorities.
Support colleagues' work and development to build overall squad capability.
Lead relevant pricing and chapter projects as needed.
What we are looking for:
Experience in a pricing role within insurance, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
Technical expertise in areas like trading, modelling, optimisation, or risk modelling.
Proficiency with software & tools such as Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL, Python.
Curiosity, collaboration, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to positively influence stakeholders.
