A quick look at the role
The Infrastructure Project Engineer role is largely field based, and will require travel to Biffa and non-Biffa locations. The role will support M&A activity, and will take direction from the Technical Project Management team.
Your core responsibilities
* Provide technical direction in line with Biffa IT strategy
* Support and deliver M&A projects in line with predefined timescales and budget
* Provide handover support and familiarisation training to support teams once services are in life
* Provide technical direction and implementation support for acquired businesses
* Tracking of spend against a predefined CAPEX budget
Our essential requirements
* Microsoft Technical Certifications – specifically Azure
* Experience of M&A integration
* Technical delivery and MPLS Networking
* Experience of WAN and LAN support
* Ability to respond out of hours if necessary to deliver critical project success
