We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Support chefs with cooking tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking various ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
* Help with the serving of meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
* Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in catering or restaurant settings.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: £12.21-£12.30 per hour
