AL FURQAN PRIMARY SCHOOL Reddings Lane, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 3EY Islamic, Quranic Arabic Studies (IQA) Teacher x1 posts (Unqualified teacher scale: part time Maternity cover) 39 weeks per year. 15 hours per week We are seeking applications for the IQA Teacher start date to be confirmed. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in delivering IQA in our Voluntary Controlled Islamic School. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to upholding the Islamic ethos of the school and will need to have excellent knowledge of the Quran, Islam and Arabic We are looking for someone who: Has experience of delivering Quran and Arabic. Has a track record of successfully teaching children from EYFS to KS2 ensuring all children make good progress. Has a good knowledge of the Islamic, Quranic and Arabic curriculum and assessment. Is able to work closely with other IQA staff. Is able to teach a whole class and 1:1.
