Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, particularly in operating flatbed vehicles. Responsibilities * Operate a HGV Class 2 flat bed with HIAB on the back * Delivering construction equipment * MUST HAVE HIAB Ticket * MUST HAVE HGV Class 2 License * Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. * Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Perform routine maintenance checks on the lorry and report any issues promptly.
