Job Description Reporting directly to the Group Treasury Director, you will play a key role in enhancing financial efficiency and managing risk across the organisation. You will work closely with global finance teams, central functions, and departmental managers to plan and provide financial analysis on transactions, as well as identify opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for managing the front office treasury operations, taking ownership of the daily cash management and liquidity, identifying exposures and mitigating financial risks. In addition, you will work closely with financial data and accounting systems, building models and optimising the use of system functionality and data to support better decision-making. This role requires a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial modelling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles and accounting period-end activities, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. A key focus will be on automation and process improvement. You will lead and support a range of projects aimed at improving working capital, reporting and reporting cycle, and overall cash management: for example, system enhancements and implementations. You will manage a Treasury Analyst, who will dedicate 50% of their time to supporting you across these responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Daily Liquidity Management: Manage daily cash and liquidity across the Group, ensuring optimal utilisation of funds and minimising internal loan exposures Execute Treasury Transactions: Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including FX, money market instruments, intercompany funding, and derivatives Cash Flow Forecasting & Financial Modelling: Develop and enhance the Group and entity-level short-term cash flow forecasts. Build and maintain financial models to deliver strategic insights to senior management, in collaboration with central function Financial Reporting: Build budgets and assist in defining long term financial strategies for the Treasury Accounting: Full ownership of the treasury accounting, reconciliations and all period-end activities for the Group's monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close Process Improvement: Help drive efficiency and automation across all treasury and finance, identifying and implementing enhancements to streamline processes Banking Relationship Management: Help manage bank relationships and serve as a key Treasury point of contact for internal stakeholders across the business Project Support: Collaborate with the wider Finance team to support cross-functional initiatives and assist the Group Treasury Director in managing the annual corporate insurance programme. Key Skills: Analytical Expertise: Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a solid ability to interpret and work with large data sets Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements and entity dynamics, underpinned by solid accounting knowledge Forecasting & Reporting: Experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and building robust financial models Organisation & Time Management: Highly self-motivated with good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exceed project deadlines Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: A team player who builds strong working relationships and acts as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders Continuous Improvement: A mindset geared toward improving systems, processes, and structures through innovation and efficiency Technical Proficiency: Advanced spreadsheet and financial modelling skills. VBA programming, Power BI, Oracle NetSuite all highly desirable Treasury Knowledge: Familiarity with treasury products, financial instruments, and market practices is useful but not essential
