Job Description
Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials. This role assists with the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives outlined in the Education Service Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal employment offer. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent part-time position based at Crosshouse Communication Centre, Crosshouse. The hours are 27.5 per week, Monday to Friday, under the direction of the Line Manager.
The role involves working with children with social and communication needs, including Autism.
The full-time salary ranges from £24,333 to £25,353 per annum. The part-time, term-time salary ranges from £16,398 to £17,085 per annum.
