In this role, you will administer statutory appointeeships and deputyships, property protection, and Council funeral services, protecting the rights and finances of residents who cannot manage these themselves. Key Responsibilities Manage appointeeship and deputyship clients’ finances, ensuring bills and accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled in line with Council procedures and regulations. Submit applications to the Department for Work and Pensions to secure appointeeship roles and ensure clients receive all entitled benefits. Oversee property protection, including storage of assets and pets, ensuring appropriate charges and care arrangements. Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, and the Court of Protection regarding financial and property matters, including property sales where directed.
