Description
* Provide expert legal advice and guidance in the field of banking law.
* Handle diverse transactions across sectors such as technology, media, telecoms, energy, life sciences, healthcare, and hotels. We work with a wide range of clients, including major banks, alternative lenders, private equity sponsors, and technology start-ups, and focus on fintech investments, emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, and multi-jurisdictional deals.
* Responsibilities include multi-jurisdictional lending, acquisition finance, embedded finance transactions, and advisory work.
* Stay abreast of changes in banking law and regulation.
* Contribute to the development of legal strategies and policies.
* Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
* Participate in business development activities to grow the company's client base.
Profile
A successful Banking Solicitor should have:
* Between 2 and 6 years experience in transactional banking law
* Proven expertise in banking law.
* The ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
