We are looking for a Trainee Mobile Service Engineer to join our growing team in the Midlands.
This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed an engineering apprenticeship, is currently part-way through an apprenticeship, or has gained practical experience working with machinery and is looking to develop a long-term career as a field service engineer.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting experienced engineers with servicing, maintenance and repairsAssisting with fault diagnosis on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systemsLearning how to carry out equipment inspections and preventative maintenanceSupporting commissioning and setup of new equipmentAttending manufacturer and in-house training coursesDeveloping technical knowledge of Metso crushing and screening equipmentCompleting service reports and documentationBuilding strong relationships with customers and colleaguesWhat We're Looking For
Recently completed or currently undertaking a relevant engineering apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experienceBackground or interest in construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGV/LGV, automotive, quarrying or heavy equipment industriesGood mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and work safelyGood communication skillsFull UK driving licence or working towards obtaining oneWhat We Offer
