The Opportunity
As Senior Account Manager, you will take full responsibility for a portfolio of key strategic clients, ensuring exceptional delivery across direct mail, print and digital communication campaigns.
You will be the primary client contact, overseeing projects from concept through production and delivery, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and outstanding service levels.
This role offers a fantastic mix of client management, project delivery and commercial ownership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving production-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnerships
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and proactive updates
* Oversee the end-to-end delivery of direct mail and print campaigns
* Translate client marketing objectives into production-ready briefs for internal teams
* Ensure all jobs are correctly documented including estimates, briefs, schedules, approvals and delivery records
* Maintain full visibility of job status, regularly liaising with production teams and maintaining a presence on the production floor
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
* Monitor and track account performance, trends and revenue opportunities
* Ensure invoicing is completed within 48 hours of job completion, capturing any additional costs
* Identify process improvements, campaign optimisation opportunities and additional revenue streams
* Lead client service review meetings and present performance insights
* Manage and resolve issues quickly and professionally to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an Account Manager within a Direct Mail or Print environment
* Strong understanding of direct mail production and fulfilment processes
* Knowledge of:
o Lithographic and digital print
o Finishing and mailing
o Data handling and data briefs
o Envelope production and postal services
* Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
* Highly organised with strong administrative and project management ability
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, costs and invoicing
* Ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously
* Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to deliver innovative solutions
* Confident working with management systems and Microsoft applications
