Minor Illness Clinician (ACP, Pharmacist or Paramedic)
Amber Valley HealthLtd/ARCH PCN are seeking minor illness clinicians (ACP, Pharmacist orParamedics) who can come and join our team working within our same day accesshub.
You will be committed toworking as part of our team to deliver an excellent and caring same day accessservice to our patients within our neighbourhoods which are Alfreton, Ripley,Crich and Heanor.
Our same day access servicewill operate Monday to Friday during normal Practice working hours.
The same day accessservice will commence from 1st December 2025 to 27thFebruary 2026.
We are open to applicantswho can work flexibly within the service.
Main duties of the job
* To undertake clinical assessmentand treatment of patients attending the same day access service.
* To provide a face-to-face serviceto manage on the day demand.
* To exercise a high degree ofprofessional autonomy and work closely as part of the multi-disciplinaryteam.
* To provide a Minor Illness Service includingprescribing medications as appropriate to your prescribing qualification.
* To provide advice and informationin appropriate non-clinical language to empower clients to undertakeself-care of their presenting clinical condition.
* To maintain accurate and timelyrecord of all clinical consultations and ensure that your Professionalcode of conduct is adhered to.
* To be able to work with a highdegree of independence and manage his/her own workload according topriorities.

Ouraim is to provide a same day access service to support our Practices with theon the day demand and to make it easier for our patient population to receive asame day consultation with the relevant healthcare professional.

Job responsibilities
* To undertake clinical assessment and treatment of patients attending the same day access service.
* To provide a face-to-face service to manage on the day demand.
* To exercise a high degree of professional autonomy and work closely as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Function in a dynamic way ready to adjust to the changing needs of the client group.
* To provide a Minor Illness Service including prescribing medications as appropriate to your prescribing qualification
* To provide advice and information in appropriate non-clinical language to empower clients to undertake self-care of their presenting clinical condition.
* To maintain accurate and timely record of all clinical consultations and ensure that your Professional code of conduct is adhered to.
* To be able to work with a high degree of independence and manage his/her own workload according to priorities.
Person Specification
Skills
Experience
* Experience in more than one clinical environment.
* Experience in patient assessment including clinical examination skills.
* Basic computer skills in both EMIS and SystmOne is essential.
Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate clinical body.
