We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Evening Support Workers to join our friendly team across Flintshire. In this rewarding role, you will provide domiciliary care and support to adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and mental health needs in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Role as an Evening Support Worker

You'll play a vital role in helping individuals live meaningful and independent lives. Duties include:

Personal Care

* Supporting with washing, bathing, showering, or toileting

* Assisting with dressing and evening routines

* Helping individuals settle comfortably for the night

Medication Support

* Assisting with prescribed medication and recording accurately

* Administering Medication

Day-to-Day Support

* Providing person-centred support at home

* Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional resilience

* Supporting individuals to access their community

Meal Preparation & Nutrition

* Preparing evening meals, snacks, and drinks

* Encouraging healthy eating and hydration

Household Tasks

* Light cleaning, washing dishes, tidying, and maintaining a safe home environment

Companionship & Emotional Support

* Offering company, reassurance, and meaningful conversation

* Helping reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety

Mobility & Practical Support

* Assisting with mobility and the safe use of walking aids or wheelchairs

Professional Responsibilities

* Following care plans and reporting any changes

* Keeping accurate records of visits and care provided

* Communicating effectively with families, carers, and professionals

* Promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times

Hours at Clocktower

We recognise the importance of work–life balance and offer a variety of evening and overnight shifts, with shifts available 7 days a week:

* Evening Shifts – typically 3:00pm–10:00pm or 5:00pm–10:00pm

* Sleep-In Shifts – 10:00pm–7:00am, providing reassurance and support overnight

We will work with you to agree which evenings work best for you and your home life, ensuring a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Requirements

* No formal qualifications required – full training provided

* Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care desirable (or support to achieve this on employment)

* Driving licence preferred but not essential

Location: Across Flintshire

Pay: £13.10 per hour + £55 per sleep
