We are currently recruiting for an experienced Family Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE to join a well-established and highly regarded high net worth family team acting for clients across the North East region. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded solicitor to work alongside experienced Partners within a supportive environment, handling a broad range of privately funded family matters, including high-net-worth cases. The Role The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of family and matrimonial matters including: Divorce and separation Financial remedy matters, including high-net-worth cases Private children matters Cohabitation disputes Pre and post-nuptial agreements You will be responsible for providing clear and practical legal advice tailored to individual client circumstances, drafting high-quality legal documentation, and representing clients through negotiations, hearings, and advocacy where required. The role will also involve: Conducting advocacy and attending court hearings Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court procedures Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting business development and networking initiatives Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate Keeping up to date with legal developments and ongoing professional training About You Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with ideally a minimum of 2 years’ PQE up to around 5yrs PQE The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience advising on divorce, financial remedy, and private Children Act matters Be confident managing a varied caseload independently Possess strong advocacy and negotiation skills Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Show strong commercial awareness and business development capability Benefits 25 days holiday increasing with years service plus buy/sell holiday scheme Private Healthcare Bonus Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 at home) 6% pension contribution Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
