We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our Litigation Department on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career while contributing to the development and expansion of the department.
A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate, who should have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a broad range of general civil litigation matters. These include (but are not limited to):
* Financial disputes and debt recovery
* Boundary disputes
* Contentious probate
* Commercial contract disputes
* Landlord and tenant issues
* Consumer law
Ideally, candidates will be members of the relevant Law Society panels, or be open to pursuing membership in their area of specialism.
Flexible remote working is available, though Court attendance and occasional visits to the office will be required.
Start date and salary – negotiable.
Responsibilities
* Representing clients in litigation cases, providing legal advice and guidance throughout the process
* Drafting and filing legal documents
* Conducting legal research to support case strategies and arguments
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of litigation processes
* Good IT skills and able to work with Microsoft Office, undertake meetings online via Teams/Zoom or similar video calling platforms and using a case management system. Training in the Firm's Case Management System will be provided
* Negotiation and communication skills
