Join Our Team as a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant!
Are you ready to positively influence young minds and enjoy your work? We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join us at the Gainsborough Academy.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Perform basic cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
* Supervise organised activities, especially indoors during bad weather, to promote social skills and self-discipline, ensuring equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
* Be familiar with the academy’s behaviour guidelines and manage pupil misbehaviour, informing the Senior Midday Supervisor as needed.
* Monitor designated areas and report any incidents or security issues to safeguard pupils.
* Provide appropriate care and support to pupils, meeting their welfare and hygiene needs.
* Handle injuries immediately, referring to the Senior Midday Supervisor and following policies and procedures.
