Are you looking for a meaningful role that fits perfectly around your other commitments? We’re offering a highly flexible term‑time only working pattern (Mon–Wed, 10:00–14:00), ideal for someone wanting to build or maintain their People & Culture career while balancing personal or family responsibilities.
We’re looking for a proactive and organised People & Culture Co‑Ordinator to support our UK Supply Chain & Logistics teams at our Kirkby site. You’ll play a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience and supporting a safe, high‑performing, and engaged operational workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing
Employee Lifecycle Management
* Act as the first point of contact for colleague and people‑related queries.
* Support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring Right to Work checks and contract processes are completed accurately.
* Maintain people records to meet compliance, reporting, and audit standards.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning Support
* Coordinate recruitment activity in partnership with the UK P&C Advisor.
* Arrange interviews, assessments, and pre‑employment checks.
* Track staffing levels, attrition, and absence to support operational workforce planning and provide metrics to the P&C Business Partner.
Employee Relations & Policy Support
* Provide admin support on ER cases, including notes, letters, and investigation coordination.
* Ensure policies are communicated clearly, raising any training needs or emerging risks.
Learning, Wellbeing & Engagement
* Support employee engagement initiatives and the Heart of Evergreen recognition programme.
* Monitor wellbeing and absence trends; play an active role in the Thrive wellbeing programme alongside the Site Co‑Ordinator.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in HR/People administration, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
* Strong organisational skills and resilience in fast‑moving, seasonal environments.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence supporting colleagues at all levels.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
* CIPD Level 3 is desirable — though hands‑on experience and the right mindset are just as important, and development support is available.
