We have several opportunities in our Customer Experience team in Exeter as a Customer Care Representative. This is a full-time, permanent role starting from £25,274, with potential increases on progression, plus an additional 5% shift allowance (£1,263). About the role:
As a Customer Care Representative, you will work in a dynamic customer service team, engaging directly with customers, listening to their queries, and providing quick resolutions.
The role initially involves inbound calls but offers opportunities to develop skills across digital communication channels, handling billing, operational issues like supply interruptions, dispatching technicians, and wholesale queries.
Training and support will be provided, including onboarding to our back-office processes and enrollment in our bespoke operational learning academy at our Exeter office.
Shift Patterns:
The role involves working 37 hours per week on a flexible rota from 7 am to 10 pm, covering weekends and bank holidays throughout the year. Rota schedules are provided in advance, requiring flexibility.
Key responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of customer issues, alleviating stress, and guiding them to solutions efficiently.
* Offering personalized services based on individual circumstances.
* Identifying vulnerabilities through communication channels.
* Resolving initial queries and anticipating future needs.
* Promoting collaboration and continuous improvement in customer service.
* Ensuring safety and well-being as a top priority every day.
Candidate requirements:
* Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Honest, tactful, and friendly demeanor.
* Confident in managing calls and engaging with customers.
* Customer service experience is desirable.
