Wood is currently recruiting for a Planner/Scheduler to work at Clients offices in Aberdeen, Scotland on a 12-month fixed term contract. 4 days in the office is required with 1 day (Friday) working from home.
The role:
The Asset Planner & Scheduler is an integral part of the Asset team and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all asset work activity aligns with asset integrity and production objectives. The role, which reports to the Planning & Scheduling Leader/ Asset Onshore Superintendent is based onshore within the direct Asset Support team.

The Operated Assets Service Line is an exciting and expanding area of our business, providing critical operations services to the energy sector – including duty holder, managed service and TAR delivery – for 10 UK customers. Most of our contracts have been built over long term relationships which has allowed us to extend and re-win contract agreements – our secured pipeline of work is extremely stable for the next 3 years and continually growing

Knowledge, skills, and experience:
8. Appropriate level of experience within the oil and gas industry preferably gained within the offshore production operations environment.
9. Experience in asset and operations planning through different timeframes.
10. Working knowledge and proven abilities with Primavera P6.
11. Proven competency in collaborating with other disciplines, functions, and key sub-contractors to support operational deliveries.
12. Experience / understanding of planning & scheduling work activities to meet resource levels and asset priorities.
13. High level of SAP PM / CMMS skills, experience and understanding.
14. Demonstrable strong communication skills (oral and written).
15. Demonstrable experience of adapting to /dealing with change and the coordination of multi-function/discipline teams.
16. Ability to work using initiative and with minimum supervisory direction.
At a minimum, you have:
17. Relevant technical qualification (C&G, ONC, HNC+).
18. Industry/company recognised training in SAP PM module.
19. Industry/company recognised training in Primavera P6.
