We’re working with a highly respected construction group in London who are looking to appoint a dynamic Head of Health & Safety Manager to lead their H&S function and drive a culture of safety excellence across multiple projects.
This is a key leadership role within the business, ideal for someone with strong sector experience who’s ready to take ownership of the full health, safety, and compliance agenda.
The Role
As the Head of Health & Safety Manager, you will:
* Lead the development and implementation of H&S strategy across the group
* Provide expert guidance to senior leadership, project teams, and site management
* Oversee compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
* Manage and maintain ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 systems
* Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across Greater London
* Champion best practice and promote a proactive safety culture across the business
* Manage incident investigations and ensure continuous improvement
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) – essential
* Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role within construction, engineering, or building services
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
* A track record in managing integrated management systems (ISO 45001, 9001 & 14001)
* Confidence working across multiple sites and projects
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Greater London
