Role Overview:
You’ll teach across KS3–KS4 and potentially KS5, guiding students in a wide range of techniques and media. The department promotes diversity in the arts, regularly showcasing student work through exhibitions, competitions, and partnerships with local galleries.
Main Duties:

Deliver structured, imaginative lessons in 2D and 3D media

Encourage experimentation and originality in student work

Lead and coordinate whole-school art events and displays

Track and support individual student progress using effective assessment methods

Participate in extra-curricular clubs, visits to galleries, and external competitions
Candidate Profile:

Degree in Fine Art, Art & Design, or similar with QTS
*
A creative and flexible approach to teaching and curriculum planning
*
Knowledge of both traditional and digital art practices
*
A commitment to fostering diversity and expression through the arts
