A well-established and growing joinery, fit-out and multi-trades contractor based in Cheadle, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and residential sectors. The business has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, reliability and long-standing client relationships, working with main contractors and developers across the North West and beyond.
With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
As Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades, you will be responsible for:
* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple joinery, fit-out and multi-trade packages
* Preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts
* Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Procurement and management of subcontractors
* Variations management and negotiation
* Monitoring project costs to ensure profitability and margin control
* Supporting project teams to ensure commercial compliance and efficiency
* Liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
This role offers a mix of office-based work in Cheadle and site visits across the North West.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Sub-Contractors Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Trades will have:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out or multi-trade subcontracting
* Strong knowledge of commercial processes and contract administration
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* A proactive, commercially astute approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a growing team
