Management Accountant
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire (with some hybrid working and occasional travel to Kinmel site)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
The Opportunity
We're excited to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Thirsk. This is a key role supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, providing meaningful insights, and driving improvements to processes and systems.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a vital part in the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, capital reporting, and audit support, whilst working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accuracy, integrity, and understanding of performance.

The Role
As Management Accountant, you will:
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including balance sheet control and reconciliations.
* Liaise with site business partners to ensure financial results align with operational performance.
* Support year-end audit requirements, including disclosure packs and management accounts analysis.
* Drive automation and continuous improvement across management accounts processes and systems.
* Deliver monthly capital accounting, reporting, and tracking against business case, budget, and forecast.
* Provide management accounts information to support wider Finance team deliverables.
* Complete additional reporting requirements (e.g. National Statistics returns).
* Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

What We're Looking For
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in management accounts, ideally in a manufacturing environment (desirable, not essential).
* Strong technical proficiency with excellent Excel skills.
* Highly organised with strong planning and stakeholder management skills.
* Able to deliver to tight deadlines with attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in view.
* Positive, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills.
* Self-motivated and adaptable, with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, private equity environment.
