The Role
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 expected
* Leading on teaching and learning within the Music provision
* Driving high standards in performance, composition, and theory
* Supporting curriculum development and assessment strategies
* Overseeing concerts, productions, ensembles, and enrichment activities
* Coaching and mentoring colleagues within the Performing Arts department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Music or a closely related subject
* Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level, including KS5
* A strong track record of excellent pupil outcomes
* Experience leading initiatives or contributing to departmental leadership
* High expectations for musical excellence and student engagement
