About This Role
We are seeking a 40 Hour Teller to join our Consumer, Small & Business Banking division as part of our National Branch Network. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the local community, providing essential financial services to residents, employees, and local businesses. Your Responsibilities
* Engage with customers by processing teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making introductions to bankers.
* Complete operational activities while minimizing risks in accordance with established policies.
* Perform routine transactional and customer support tasks efficiently, leveraging your knowledge of bank procedures and products.
* Receive guidance from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
* Escalate questions and issues to more experienced team members as needed.
* Build relationships with customers to demonstrate care and complete requested transactions.
* Identify information and services to meet customers' financial needs.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
* 6+ months of experience interacting with people through work, military, or education.
* Military experience (transitioning service member, reserve member, or veteran) and currently enrolled in a college or university program.
* Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
* Ability to educate customers about technology and the value of mobile banking options.
* Integrity and professionalism in interactions with customers and team members.
* Experience collaborating with a team to meet customer needs.
* Cash handling experience.
* Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Skill in identifying potential fraud/risky accounts and taking appropriate action.
* Well-organized, independent, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to exercise judgment and raise questions to management as needed.
* Relevant military experience in personnel benefits management, human resources, or military recruiting.
* Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
Job Expectations
* Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
