The Network Engineering Service designs, builds and validates the core physical and virtual networks powering a secure, multi‑site platform. The role covers formal design work, system testing and resolving complex network issues alongside Service Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and validate secure multi‑site network components.
- Produce and review HLDs, LLDs, implementation guides and config standards.
- Design and manage hierarchical IP subnetting.
- Configure and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP and enterprise routing.
- Deploy and maintain routers, switches and firewalls.

Essential Skills & Experience

3+ years’ hands‑on experience with:

VXLAN
*
Dual‑Hub DMVPN
*
IPS/IDS
*
AAA/ISE

Full QoS configuration

Recent professional certification (CCNP, VCP‑NV).

Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Active SC clearance.
*
Competent with Microsoft Office.
Desirable
-Experience in secure/regulated public‑sector environments.
-Defence network and secure gateway support.
-Delivery of accredited secure solutions.
-Agile/Waterfall delivery experience.
-Exposure to large‑scale virtualisation.
-JIRA/Confluence familiarity.
-Relevant technical degree.
-Secure multi‑tenant architecture design.
-Chartered Engineer or working toward it.
