2. Location: Slough
3. Contract Length: 12 months
4. Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week, occasional weekend work
5. Pay Rate: approx. 25k per annum
About the Role
Opportunity to work within the biopharmaceutical industry at a globally leading CDMO.
Key Responsibilities
General laboratory maintenance:
6. Routine stock management
7. Routine equipment calibrations
8. Raising EWRP notifications when required
9. Maintaining stock of re-usable consumables (autoclaving support)
10. General housekeeping activities
11. Maintaining all laboratory and housekeeping documentation
12. General media and buffer preps
13. Processing departmental stock deliveries
14. Arranging departmental shipments
15. Supporting implementation of 6S in R&D labs
16. General support to R&D team members as required
17. Cell culture work to support projects
18. Supporting bioreactor set up and tear down (lab scale and ambr250)
Education-Required:
19. Degree (required)* A-Level/BTEC Field of Study Relevant scientific qualification
20. Degree (preferred) BSC Field of Study Relevant Biotechnology Degree
