Your new role
You will be involved in the delivery of the Building Control function and ensure that the Council's obligations under the Building Act and associated legislation with regards to health and safety, welfare and convenience of persons in or about buildings are administered and enforced. This will include site inspections, plan checking and completing enforcement actions.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree qualification (or equivalent) and be a registered Building Inspector. Prior experience within Building Control is essential, and you will be required to provide your own vehicle for work purposes. You will be regularly required to attend site inspections within the borough.
