EMPORIO ARMANI - HARRODS - STOCK CONTROLLER
The Role: As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of inventory and stock management in store. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels, conducting regular stock audits, analysing data to optimize inventory turnover, and coordinating with various departments to maintain efficient stock operations. You will also ensure that the store has the right product available at the right time while minimizing stock discrepancies and losses.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock deliveries for accuracy and quality.
2. Ensure proper labeling, pricing, and organization of stock in the stockroom.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels and movements.
4. Prepare bi-annual stock takes and investigate discrepancies.
5. Perform cycle counts to monitor and optimize stock levels.
6. Implement stock control procedures, including stock rotation and security measures.
7. Assist management in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock.
8. Collaborate with departments to resolve stock issues.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies related to stock management.
10. Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and product placement.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
12. Participate in store meetings, training, and other activities as required.
Requirements:

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Numerical aptitude.
* Positive attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Previous experience in stock or retail operations preferred.
* Knowledge of stock control and inventory management principles.
