Job Summary
This is a full-time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time with a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to work within the Children and Young People\'s team in Worcestershire alongside our Children\`s Community Nursing Service (Orchard Service). The post would be based in our Paediatric Physiotherapy team, where leadership and supervision will be provided. Our Nursing service will support clinical management of this caseload.
Responsibilities
* Provide a respiratory physiotherapy service to children with complex health needs, with aim of preventing hospital admission.
* Work in collaboration with the Orchard Team
* Follow developed pathway criteria, treatment modalities and a competency and training package
* Offer training to families, carers, other professionals in respiratory management for this identified cohort of patients.
* Collection of data to report to ICB
* To act as a source of clinical expertise/advice and guidance for families, carers and other members of the MDT including health, education and social care

Requirements
Experience
* A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience including work in a speciality at band 6
* Experience of working with children at band 6
* Experience of supervision of junior staff or students
* Experience of delegation to qualified / unqualified staff
* Experience of audit
Desirable
* Experience within relevant clinical field Experience at band 7
Qualifications
* Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of relevant post Graduate courses / CPD maintained in portfolio
* Member of CSP and APCP
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Desirable
* Relevant validated clinical course Clinical Educators qualification.
