The Exciting Role
Are you passionate about inclusion and supporting learners with special educational needs? We're looking for an Inclusive Learning Advisor to join our dedicated Additional Learning Support team.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide targeted support to learners with SEND and/or inclusion needs across all programmes - from full-time 16-18s and adult learners to apprentices. You'll help ensure that every learner can access education fully and equitably.
As part of this, you'll carry out Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) in line with JCQ regulations, including specialist assessments and the completion of required documentation, ensuring that all learners receive fair and appropriate support during their exams.
What You Will Be Doing:
Delivering 1:1, small group and workshop-based support tailored to learners' needs.
Assessing learners and developing effective, personalised support plans.
Carrying out JCQ-compliant assessments for Exam Access Arrangements.
Supporting and promoting the use of assistive technology.
Collaborating with teaching staff, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure inclusive practices.
Maintaining detailed records and contributing to EHCP reviews and transition planning.
Delivering training and awareness sessions on SEND and inclusion best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience working with learners with SEND in an educational setting.
Knowledge of JCQ regulations and experience completing relevant exam documentation with appropriate qualifications.
A learner-centred approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to promoting equity, innovation, and continuous improvement in inclusive learning.
