BEH and Camden and Islington foundation trust have formed a partnership with the North London NHS Foundation Trust (North London Foundation Trust) to collaborate with the North Central London integrated care board (ICB) to transform care for people living in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. The CAMHS division focuses on providing effective, personalised, timely and compassionate care to young people in these boroughs.
Main duties
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, approachable and motivated LAS Doctor ST4-ST6 to join the Barnet Enfield and Haringey CAMHS division on a full-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The LAS Trust Doctor will work within a well-functioning multidisciplinary CAMHS team, focusing on assessment and treatment of young people in Enfield CAMHS (Generic/Neurodevelopmental). The post is an existing ST4 trainee post recently vacated. The successful candidate will be encouraged to participate in QI projects, teach medical students, MDT members and psychiatry trainees, and contribute to THRIVE-based service transformation to deliver effective and compassionate care.

Person Specification – Essential
* Eligible for full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise by the start date
* A minimum of 12 months experience in psychiatry (or equivalent) or competencies in psychiatric specialties
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Clinical interest in Psychiatry with at least three years of experience; ability to provide complete employment history
* Excellent communication skills and ability to assess physical health, perform examinations and tests
* Excellent IT skills for timely electronic record keeping
Desirable
* Further postgraduate qualifications relevant to psychiatry
* Experience in data gathering and management
