This role sits within their government and defence workstreams, supporting some major national frameworks with the chance to learn directly from experienced senior planners and project leads. You’d be joining a company that delivers full lifecycle services, from consulting and engineering through to programme and construction management. In the UK, they’ve got over 5,000 professionals working across sectors like water, environment, infrastructure, energy, and international development. Globally, the team is 28,000 strong across 100 countries. What makes them stand out is the balance between size and structure. They bring serious expertise and global backing, but still operate with a personal approach – focusing on building real relationships, solving complex problems, and adding long-term value for both clients and staff. What the role involves: Supporting key government and defence programmes across the UK Working alongside senior planners to help manage project schedules, support reporting, and ensure programme milestones are met Getting hands-on experience with tools like Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject (you don’t need to be an expert – just keen to learn) Being part of a London-based team with regular in-person collaboration Gaining end-to-end exposure on large, complex projects with national impact What they’re looking for: Someone with some experience in project planning, delivery support, or similar An interest in large infrastructure or government programmes Willingness to take on responsibility and grow in a structured environment Happy to work from the London office 2 days a week (or client site as needed) What you’ll get in return: The chance to be part of a globally recognised consultancy with a long-standing UK presence Ongoing support and development from senior planners and project leaders A genuine career path with opportunities to move into more senior roles over time Collaborative teams that bring together planning, cost, risk, engineering, and PMO Strong benefits including private healthcare, generous annual leave, pension, and flexible working If you’re a junior-level planner (or in a related project support role) and you’re looking for the right environment to build your skills and take on meaningful work, this could be a good opportunity for you.
