Job Title: Receptionist and Admin Assistant

Ref: K&C 5274304

Pay rate: £17.73 per hour PAYE

Role length: Anticipated 2 months


The role:

We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and professional Reception & Administrative Assistant to join the front-of-house team at a busy Register Office. You will be the first point of contact for customers arriving for appointments, providing an exceptional experience for them.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide a friendly and professional welcome to all visitors and customers upon arrival
* Sign in customers attending appointments
* Notify relevant colleagues of customer arrivals in a timely manner
* Handle payments and process orders (full training provided)
* Answer basic enquiries in person and over the phone, directing people as needed
* Perform a range of basic administrative tasks to support the wider team
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area


What the client is looking for:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
