JRRL are seeking a Commercial Account Handler for a well-established Insurance Agency in Bromley.
The Commercial Account Handler will work with the Commercial department to provide broking and technical support.
Duties for the Commercial Account Handler:
* Negotiate terms on behalf of customers with underwriters.
* Handle process and assist with commercial claims.
* Comply at all times with the requirements of the firm's own procedures, the Financial Services Act 2012 and FCA Regulations.
* Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
* Handle policy renewals, adjustments and new business quotations.
Person Specification for the Commercial Account Handler:
* Ability to maintain professional competence at all times.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Ability to make professional presentations for existing and potential customers.
* Excellent keyboard skills including Microsoft Suite, email and internet.
* Rounded knowledge of the insurance industry.
* Sound understanding of the placement and operation of liability and property insurance.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000pa
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm
This is a fully office-based position

This role is a full-time, permanent position. The salary range reflects the candidate's level of experience. The lower end of the band is suited for individuals who may require additional training to meet the role's requirements, while the higher end is for candidates who possess the exact skills and experience outlined above.
